In the studio… Something Enchanted’s Singing Princess – Tammy Rael
I was given the opportunity to recreate some of Disney’s magical songs with Central Valley’s Singing Princess Tammy Rael. This project, Sparkle! was a lot of fun. We got to analyze, compare, and experiment to make sure we captured the same feeling the original songs have and do as best as we could to help Tammy give the songs her own feel.
This had to be one of the most enjoyable projects I have worked on to date! I got to test my skills by recreating some of the most recognized songs around the world.
Sparkle! isn’t put together like a bunch of cover songs. It truly has a Princess touch. The original songs are sung by different princesses, and she was able to deliver each song with the same characteristic as the original princess. From Disney’s Little Mermaid “Part of Your World” to Frozen “Let it Go” you will love every second of this Princess CD, I know I did while creating it.
